The Moncton newspaper had an article in it today from Gwynne Dyer talking about the population imbalance in China. For anyone out of Moncton, his column is nationally syndicated so it may be in your paper was well. I checked his website but it’s about 6 weeks outdated.
He looked at the population imbalance from an interesting angle that I don’t think I’ve heard mentioned before. With the possibility of millions of males not having anyone in their lives, China may have to immigration issues as men look outside China for wives and companions. Hearing about immigration issues, I wonder if the international adoption program will continue in the years to come when such a population imbalance is there now and will only get worse.
