We met with our MLA Greg Byrne on Monday. He is the Minister responsible for population growth and immigration. He is extremely supportive of our position and is doing everything he can, along with various senior bureaucrats in various departments, to convince the NB Adoption Foundation to stop the ads. He has promised to write a stern
letter to the foundation and its board members, requesting the offending line be taking out of the radio and television and print ads. He has also promised to personally call several members of the board. The deputy min of Family and Community services has also ordered the foundation's brochures pulled from all regional offices and Service NB
offices throughout the province. We are making great progress.
