Here's the latest update from The China Center for Adoption Affairs.
The matching process is complete for families who's dossiers were submitted on or before June 28, 2005. These familes, wherever they are in the world, will soon receive their pictures and information on their child. On May 23, 2006, the CCAA sent their last update and had matched to June 15, 2005, so this is a range of 13 days. Much better than the last 2 months where they've only matched 1 week per month.
Before the matching is done, all the paperwork gets reviewed one more time to make sure all is correct. This month, this process is completed for files recieved on or before October 31, 2005. Remember, our login date with the CCAA is November 29. Last month they reviewed files up to the end of September, so it looks like they're reviewing 1 month per month. If this continues for July, our files should be 100% reviewed and then begin the matching process.
It's still to early to predict a referral date but we are getting closer!
