Things have become more quiet

I feel the need to write something even though we have nothing new to report.

It looks like one of the local organizers for a lot of the Chinese adoption activities in Moncton will be moving away soon so I hope that doesn't affect the amount or level of activity in Moncton. Only time will tell.

We never did get the tracking number from Bill Innes so that we could verify that our package with all our paperwork made it to China. I'm going to assume it did. I may try sending him an email this week to see if I can get it.

I'm a little disappointed in our grouping. I wouldn't change a thing as this is what we've been dealt. It's just not what I had pictured in my mind. We're in Group 251 which includes 3 other families... one in Newfoundland, one in Alberta and one in Saskatchewan (I think). Group 253 is a larger group and includes 4 families from NB. Part of the journey that I was looking

forward to was the camaraderie of prepping and travelling with another family that was close by but it doesn't look like that will be happening. We get "re-grouped" once China bundles together the referrals and sends them to us so maybe in 6 to 9 months, we'll get grouped with some local families for the travel part.

That's all for now. I'll keep you all posted as more information trickles in.

Scott
