A major Chinese celebration is their Autumn Moon Festival and it's taking place this weekend. There is a celebration in Moncton being put on by the Greater Moncton Chinese Cultural Association.
From an email I received...
The Greater Moncton Chinese Cultural Association invites you to join us to our Moon Festival Party which will be held at Paroise Notre-Dame de la Paix (91 Murphy Ave, Moncton) on Saturday September 17 (6PM-9PM). You can enjoy traditional Moon cakes and Chinese teas. There will also be some games for kids.
The party is free for all GMCCA members and kids, and $2 for non-member adults.
Here's a link to a map of the location. It's between McLaughlin and Elmwood Drive.
