We have finished the home study!!

We had our 4th official meeting with MP last night and after reviewing different things and covering some more things, it looks like she has enough information to write her report. Now we just wait. She needs a few weeks to write her report that she will present to the province, but we get a chance to review it before she does present it. We should get to look at it at the end of August, then she'll present it to the province in September then the province takes a month or so to do whatever they do to it. I never had any doubts that we would be approved, so I'm sure there's no issues. it will just be a releif to hear her say that she will recommend us.

So, now while we wait, we need to start in on our paperwork for the Chinese portion of this process. We need to write a letter to the government of China as to why we should be allowed to adopt, we need letters of reference form our employer stating that our job is safe and secure, we need letters written by friends and family, we need copies of T4's, we need copies of our passports, fingerprint clearances, and the list goes on and on.
