Fingerprints to RCMP

Jennifer is sending in the fingerprint forms to the RCMP today for security clearance. We've already received our background clearance from the local detatchment of the RCMP, but the fingerprint forms have to go to Ottawa. The RCMP office by the Moncton Hospital usually charges for the fingerprinting but didnt charge us as it's for adoption.
We were told by someone (we've talked to so many we cant remeber who they all are) that we should send the fingerprint forms around the time we start the homestudy. OK, we're a few weeks early, but we didnt want to be late and be waiting for it. I guess the approval is only good for 6 months so you need to make sure it's still valid when the CCAA in China receives our files.
